What's the use?

Why create a category which will very likely only ever hold one article?

Currently the status of the wiki is unsatisfactory. It is a treasure full of valuable information, but it is very hard to find anything due to poor internal linking and insufficient categorizing. I spent the last months with creating some categories in a logical structure, but the remaining work is still huge and more than one person can manage in a reasonable time. There are currently 971 uncategorized articles and 1498 wanted pages. There will be a lot of them that would fit in the VCL category, e.g. pages about components in the VCL. In my opinion the VCL category is both required by logical structure and it will help to find some of those articles more easily.--Jwdietrich 12:10, 21 September 2013 (CEST)
